Need

Elysian Aircraft is developing the E9X—the world’s first large-scale battery-electric aircraft—engineered to carry 90 passengers on regional routes up to 1000 km. With a 2033 launch target, the E9X aims to replace 50% of scheduled flights on these routes, contributing to a 20% reduction in global aviation emissions.

The first challenge was addressing misconceptions about the viability of large-scale battery-electric aircraft. Our strategy focused on leveraging findings from two key research papers that validate the E9X’s feasibility, while transforming complex engineering concepts into a clear, compelling narrative for investors, the press, and potential customers.
